10 Best Logitech Keyboards

1. Logitech MX Keys

Logitech’s MX Keys is made to be the perfect partner to the MX Master mouse. But you don’t need the mouse – the keyboard is a great pick by itself because it comes with a great design and excellent functionalities. It’s probably one of the best non-mechanical keyboards out there, so let’s take a closer look at it.

First of all, this is a keyboard that looks and feels premium, and wouldn’t look out of place in an office environment. The grey and black color scheme looks great and will blend in with just about any color theme you have going on. While we’re at the design, this is a full-size keyboard that has a few extra keys that come in handy, as well as multimedia keys in the function row.

While we’re at the keys, the keys on the MX Keys are some of the most comfortable ones out there. They’ve been specifically sculpted to fit your fingertips’ shape, with a spherical design that gives you a satisfying feeling with every keypress. It’s a pleasure to type on.

There’s also a bit of extra functionality with the keyboard. It comes with a smart backlight that has proximity detection. When you get your hands close to it, the backlight comes on automatically, which is a neat addition we don’t see with many other keyboards. You also get support for Logitech Flow, which lets you use the keyboard on multiple devices at the same time, and even copy and transfer files, too.

Last but not least, the keyboard has a USB-C port that you use for charging. The battery life is great, you’ll get up to 10 days of regular use, or up to 5 months if you turn off the backlight. Impressive, right?

2. Logitech Craft

While many consider the Craft to be the predecessor to the MX Keys, they’re different in a few key aspects. The Craft is arguably the more premium of the two, and it comes with extra functionality that many users will love.

The design is beautiful. As you would expect, this is a premium keyboard that’s made of dark grey plastic and aluminum. The entire thing screams premium and high-quality. Being a full-size keyboard, there’s room for all the keys you would expect on a regular keyboard, and there are even multimedia keys in the function row, too.

The keys themselves have Logitech’s sculpted profile which fits your fingertips rather well. The result is an extremely comfortable typing experience like few other non-mechanical keyboards can offer. Above the arrow cluster, you have the three device switching buttons – this keyboard can be connected to three devices at the same time, and you can easily switch between them with no issue whatsoever. There’s also a backlight on the keys, which does come in handy when you’re working in a darker environment.

The icing on the cake, however, is the Crown. This is a rotatable dial that’s on the top left corner and can be used for pretty much anything you want to. It has context-specific functionality that changes depending on what software you use it in. For example, you can use it to adjust layer opacity in Photoshop or scrub through the timeline in Premiere. It’s a nifty little tool that feels very high quality in the hand, just like it should on a premium keyboard like this.

Wrap things up with overall excellent build quality and flawless wireless performance, and this is certainly one of the best wireless keyboards you can buy for working and day-to-day use.

3. Logitech G915 TKL

The G series of products are some of the best gaming peripherals on the market, consistently, for the past couple of years. The G915 TLK is one of the flagship gaming keyboards, and it comes with a host of features and interesting functionalities that try to justify the rather high price tag. It’s expensive, but for some, it will definitely be worth it.

First things first, this is a keyboard that’s made with aircraft-grade aluminum. This not only keeps the weight reasonable, but it also gives the entire keyboard a lot of stiffness and an overall premium feel. The compact TKL design makes it an excellent choice for people who don’t have a lot of desk space available and don’t need a Numpad.

This being a mechanical keyboard, it comes with Logitech’s low-profile GL switches. They feature a standard Cherry MX stem and you can get it with clicky, tactile, or linear switches. Logitech’s excellent Lightspeed wireless technology makes an appearance too. You will be hard-pressed to find a difference between this and a wired keyboard, as when it comes to latency, there is none.

At the top of the keyboard, above the keys, you will find a few interesting things. The left side has buttons that allow you to switch between Lightspeed wireless and Bluetooth, as well as a button for Game Mode, and a button for the Lightsync RGB backlight. To the right are the media control keys, alongside a well-thought-out volume adjustment knob.

While this might not be the best keyboard for working, when it comes to gaming, and budget isn’t a problem, this is one of the best Logitech keyboards out there. You won’t regret it, as it has everything you might need, and then some.

4. Logitech Ergo K860

If you’re after ergonomic Logitech keyboards, the Ergo K860 is the one you need. Anyone who’s ever dealt with arm pain or carpal tunnel syndrome will know that sometimes an ergonomic keyboard is exactly the thing you need for a comfortable typing experience. It also comes with a nice wrist rest to make things even more comfortable, so let’s take a closer look.

The first thing you should know is that this is a full-size keyboard and a rather large one. When you factor in the (pretty large) wrist rest, as well as the split down the middle of the letters, you’ll see why you need a lot of desk space to house the K860. But it’s well worth it.

You have a split layout with a split spacebar. There is a slope from the middle towards the sides, which helps a lot by keeping your hands in a curved, more natural position that’s a lot more comfortable during extended typing sessions. The keys are slightly scooped to match your fingertips’ shape, adding more comfort, and allowing you to hit the right keys easier.

We have to give it to Logitech for the wrist rest, too. Not only is it rather large and has plenty of room for you to put your hands on, but it is also pillowed. This adds a lot of comfort, and if you spend hours in front of your computer, it’s much-needed comfort. The overall typing experience is comfort-oriented – just what you’d expect from ergonomic Logitech keyboards.

At the end of the day, this isn’t the best keyboard for gaming or the best keyboard for working. But it’s definitely the best ergonomic Logitech keyboard, and if you appreciate comfort, you’ll absolutely love it.

5. Logitech MK270 Combo

While a lot of users wouldn’t mind spending a lot of money on a higher-end keyboard (and mouse), sometimes you’re just limited with your budget and don’t want to go that route. If you’re trying to save a bit, Logitech’s MK270 Combo is a great choice. You get a keyboard and a mouse that work on the same dongle and perform admirably, and even though budget-oriented, they’re far from bad.

To begin with, the keyboard that’s part of this combo comes with a full-size layout. Not only is it pretty comfortable, but you also have multimedia keys right above the function row. These are handy shortcuts that you don’t expect to find on budget models. To make things even better, they’re programmable, and you can adjust them as you want. The on/off switch is to the right as well, in a rather accessible place.

The mouse you get is pretty compact, which makes it great for carrying around when necessary. Tracking and performance are great, and we have no complaints in this regard.

What we also liked is the battery life – the AA and AAA batteries that go in the mouse and keyboard seem to last forever. What’s even better is that when your batteries are empty, you don’t have to sit without a keyboard while they charge up – just swap them out and you’re good to go.

Connectivity goes through a 2.4Ghz USB receiver that sits inside the mouse when not in use, and we noticed no latency in day-to-day use. However, if you want to game with this combo, you may notice a little bit of a delay – they’re budget products and aren’t meant for gamers anyways. If you don’t mind that, though, you should be good to go.

6. Logitech K480

With smartphones getting larger screens, and tablets still being around, a lot of users tend to opt for such devices for lightweight productivity tasks. If that’s the case with you, Logitech’s K480 should be right up your alley. It’s a keyboard that has been designed with tablet and smartphone users in mind, and it comes with a few nifty functionalities you’ll love.

To begin with, this is a rather compact keyboard. Horizontally, it’s sized similarly to a 60% keyboard, but vertically it takes up a bit more space. This is due to the tablet and smartphone mount, but we’ll get to that in a moment. And even though this is a compact keyboard, the keys aren’t crammed into each other – the typing experience is surprisingly comfortable. The only thing we didn’t love was the small arrow keys, but it’s something you can get used to.

Right above the keyboard, there are a few things. To the right is a Bluetooth connectivity button, and to the left, you have a dial that switches between devices. You can connect the keyboard to up to three devices, and control them all with the switch of a dial. This is a neat trick that’s perfect if you’re working on multiple devices at a time and does come in handy rather often.

But the icing on the cake is the integrated cradle at the top that’s made to hold a tablet at just the right angle. You can also put a smartphone if you want, and whichever device you opt for, you’re looking at a very comfortable experience, similar to a laptop. It’s a neat thing that not a lot of keyboards have. Overall, this is the perfect keyboard if you’re working on a tablet or smartphone.

7. Logitech K780

Some of the best Logitech keyboards aren’t their gaming models. Instead, it’s those compact, wireless keyboards that you can use with multiple devices, that come with a premium build and nifty, unique features. And when it comes to such keyboards, the K780 is a great pick for just about anyone. It comes with a great feature set and build quality, and in a compact form factor, you’ll love.

Even though this keyboard is sized similarly to a tenkeyless keyboard, it’s a full-size model. The Numpad is pushed to the left, and the arrow keys are right beneath the Shift key, for a layout that’s similar to the one you’d find on a laptop. It works pretty well though, so we aren’t complaining.

The design is great, and you have a smartphone or tablet holder on the top. What’s interesting is that even with a large tablet, the keyboard won’t flip over when you use it – it’s incredibly stable. And we also liked that you can fit a tablet and smartphone side by side here – there’s plenty of room.

The typing experience on the keyboard is great. The circular keys have a shape that fits your fingers rather well, making for an overall very comfortable experience. However, you will need to get used to the unconventional layout, which is something to keep in mind.

As far as additional functionality goes, you get a choice between Bluetooth or the Unifying receiver, and you can connect the keyboard to a maximum of three devices. There is easy switching between the three, which is neat, to say the least. Wrapping things up, it has Logitech Flow functionality and impressive battery life. Even though the price is premium, this is actually a great compact keyboard you can use with your mobile devices, too.

8. Logitech K400 Plus

How often have you found yourself sitting in front of your TV, struggling to write the name of the movie you want to watch on your smart TV’s built-in keyboard? If you’re that kind of person, the K400 Plus is the perfect keyboard for you.

The keyboard itself is a 60%, compact layout, with arrow keys beneath the Shift key. It’s a layout that’s slightly cramped, which might be a problem for some, but it’s all in the name of keeping things compact. The typing experience is rather reasonable, the keys are comfortable and pretty quiet, which we liked. You get a few media keys as well – a nice addition.

To the right of the keys is something we don’t see on keyboards nowadays – a touchpad. It comes with a 3” diagonal, which means it is far from small. There are two buttons beneath it, for the left and right-click, so you don’t have to use a mouse when controlling your TV, or your HTPC.

The wireless performance is pretty good, too. The keyboard works with Logitech’s Unifying receiver, which you can plug into the device you’re trying to control, and there’s minimal latency – something that shouldn’t be a dealbreaker for the purpose this keyboard is made for. You get a maximum range of about 10m, which makes this a viable pick for a home theater setup, too.

With the K400 Plus, the name of the game is simplicity. It’s a compact all-in-one solution that’s made to control your entertainment system, and for that, it works wonders. It is also priced very competitively, which makes it an even better choice. It is not for gaming, nor does it have any specific productivity features, but it’s still an excellent choice.

9. Logitech K840

Good gaming keyboards don’t have to cost an exorbitant amount of money, and Logitech’s K840 is proof of that. It comes with a reasonable price, and a feature set that covers the basics very well, and gets you a few extras that come in handy once in a while.

Kicking things off with the build, this is a full-size keyboard with no extra keys. However, you actually get multimedia keys as part of the function row at the top, and some of the buttons are programmable, so you can set things up just how you like them. The entire thing is made of anodized aluminum, which results in a lightweight, yet highly durable construction. It also gives the entire keyboard a premium feel and a nice brushed aluminum look on the top.

This is a mechanical keyboard, and inside it are Logitech’s own Romer-G switches. While a lot of people aren’t fans of these switches, they actually perform rather well. They’re Japanese-engineered, which speaks volumes about the quality, and once you get used to them, the feel is pretty good, too. The distinct tactile feedback lets you know exactly when you’ve pressed the key, making it a great choice for typing as well. Unfortunately, you can’t swap out the keycaps as these switches don’t have a Cherry MX stem.

As you can see, the K840 is nothing to write home about. It doesn’t have RGB, it doesn’t have macro keys or other advanced features, but it doesn’t need them either. If you’re after one of the best Logitech keyboards that covers all the basics and comes with an excellent choice of materials and overall build quality, the K840 should make it on your shortlist.

10. Logitech K600 TV

Trying to type the name of your favorite show with a TV remote is something we all hate, and Logitech agrees. Their K600 TV is an excellent keyboard that’s made to control TVs and HTPCs, or other similar multimedia systems, and it works wonders. It performs admirably, and it will make any movie lover a fan.

To begin with, the entire keyboard is pretty compact. The keyboard section is a 60% size, but you still have arrow keys beneath the right Shift. On the left side, you have buttons that work as a left and right mouse click, as well as buttons to control a smart TV – home, back, menu, etc. The function row isn’t just a function row, it’s also where you’ll find all of the multimedia keys that go to the previous/next track, play/pause, as well as volume adjustment.

The build quality of the keyboard is pretty good. It’s lightweight, but the material of choice feels high quality even though it’s plastic. It does look like it can endure a good amount of everyday wear and tear.

An interesting addition is the touchpad and D-pad on the right side. Unlike the typical square, this one has a circular shape, but it’s still large enough to be useful. The D-pad does come in handy when you’re navigating smart TV menus, and we like the positioning.

To make the most of it, you’ll need something like a Samsung Tizen, LG WebOS, or Sony TV with Android TV, but it does work with other devices, too. The wireless range is up to 15m, which is rather impressive and lets you use it even in a home cinema setup. Overall, even though somewhat expensive, the K600 TV is an excellent choice for people who want a good wireless keyboard to control their TV.
